We will clone a painting for this tutorial – a poster to be precise – scroll down until you see the entry "PaintingGoth" and mark it with a left click. S3oc starts to list the objects it knows under the chosen category. S3oc has 9 categories which objects are stored under, for now we will use "Normal Objects". This is important, since the nick is used for the generation of unique object Ids.Īfter that you start the cloning via the menu entry "Cloning". Now you enter your creators nick under "Settings → Creator Name". You do this via the menu entry "Settings → Game Folders". THIS SECTION IS OUT OF DATE AND USES AN OLD VERSION OF THE CLONER - SOME INTERPRETATION IS REQUIRED FOR USE WITH THE CURRENT VERSIONįirst we check that soc3 has located where Sims 3 is installed.

#SIMS 3 MIDNIGHT HOLLOW DEFAULT VEGETATION PRO#
A graphic editing software, for example Photoshop, paint.NET, GIMP or Paint Shop Pro (it has to be able to handle alphalayers) this tutorial works with Photoshop.Sims 3 Package Editor (s3pe) by Peter Jones.

#SIMS 3 MIDNIGHT HOLLOW DEFAULT VEGETATION WINDOWS#
You will need basic knowledge about computers, Windows and graphic editing. To try this is your choice, but you do this on your own responsibility.Įven if the approach shown here is not really complex (main action is to just change one packages-resource), a beginner may be overwhelmed. Further you should be absolutely clear about the fact that custom created objects may take the game into an incoherent state which may lead to it no longer being playable. Because of that I want to point out explicitly that the way to do this may change. Important: Modding of Sims 3 is in a very early stage and the software used is highly experimental.
#SIMS 3 MIDNIGHT HOLLOW DEFAULT VEGETATION HOW TO#
This tutorial shows you how to clone a painting and how to replace the original picture with your own.
(Previews for the Blusher versions under the cut.) Ofc they’re all recolourable, the preview shows the default colour (personally think they actually look better in a slightly lighter colour, but CBA to change the default colour.) You can layer up the Blusher ones as many as you like if you use MasterController etc to allow more per category, BUT they don’t show on top off the eyebrow the same way as the Costume ones do, nor do they have quite the same “shiny” effect. The preview up top is for the Costume option they’re all in one file, so that does mean you can only have one Costume Brow Scar per sim. What started as me being indecisive on where to place a scar lead to me making more than I intended 😅 So, here are 6 Brow Scars, available as either Blusher or Costume Makeup. (Gods, I’m so good at making previews 👀 BLEH)
